Buford Fish Hatchery

Last Friday we went on a field trip to the Buford Fish Hatchery. We started by learning the process of how they bring the fish from their earliest stages and put them in the tank. As the fish grow, they're moved from tank to tank until they're finally ready to be released into the Chattahoochee River. We saw Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout.

The kids enjoyed feeding the fish. Jacob, Presley, Garrett and Caleb Then we went to the Family Fishing Pond for some catch-and-release fishing.
Caleb loved every minute of it!
They each caught several fish.

We had a great day of fishing with our homeschool friends!

And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. Genesis 1:20 - 23
